 The (world's first?) video nasties exhibition. Curators: Mark McKenna and Johnny Walker This week, myself and Mark McKenna from the University of Sunderland are curating an exhibition of the original video nasties (and related ephemera from the 1980s, 90s and beyond) at the annual Abertoir horror film festival in Aberystwyth, Wales.
We will also be giving a talk entitled 'From Video Collecting to Contemporary Cinema' on Friday at 12.30. The festival and exhibition runs from today (11 Nov) to Sunday (16 Nov). |
