High resolution versions, as well as other photos taken at the festival, can be found over on Abertoir's official Flickr page. Me handing one lucky (??) winner a copy of my book

Neil and Dario of the ever brilliant podcast The Cinematologists have just uploaded their latest episode, in which they discuss the pivotal British horror anthology Dead of Night (1945). They also manage to discuss more recent British horror productions, including some of the issues raised in my new book.
Steve Gerrard over at The Dark Side: The Magazine of the Macabre and the Fantastic has written an excellent review of my book Contemporary British Horror Cinema: Industry, Genre and Society. Gerrard calls is a "very engaging piece of work". How kind!
