Last weekend I was fortunate enough to have been invited to the fantastic Offscreen Film Festival in Brussels, to present as part of the event's '42nd Street Forever' conference (organised by Dr Russ Hunter) and to interview legendary exploitation filmmaker, Frank Henenlotter. The conference took place in the retro Cinema Nova -- a volunteer-run cinema which boasts a fantastic screening room and a terrific bar downstairs which serves excellent coffee and veggie eats. My interview with Frank took place at the Bozar: a very swanky venue which, for a couple of minutes, I was scared we weren't going to get in due to being underdressed... Thanks very much to Dirk, Gilles, Maxim, Vanity, and the rest of the Offscreen team for looking after me over the last couple of days.
